 What is KAVKA?

KAVKA is a brand of baby carriers and accessories for parents carrying their children. These products were created with passion and love, inspired by and tested on our children. These products support bonding and also help parents in everyday life.

From what age/When can I carry my baby in a baby carrier?

The KAVKA Handy PRO baby carrier is designed for babies from size 56 to 104 cm. The PRO baby carrier is designed for babies from size 56 with the "Newborn" kit (add this option to your cart)/62 cm to 104 cm. We recommend that babies who have not yet learned to sit up spend a limited amount of time in a baby carrier during the day. What's the difference between the KAVKA Handy PRO VERSION (formerly VERSION 2024) and previous models?

The KAVKA handy PRO is our response to the needs of parents who want to start babywearing their children as early as possible. We've made significant improvements to meet these needs:

an improved panel adjustment system,
a stable hip belt,
a panel adapted to the smallest children,
ties to ensure the correct positioning of the child.

This allows for babywearing from 56cm and 3.5kg.

What's the difference between the KAVKA multi-age PRO VERSION (formerly VERSION 2024) and previous models?

The KAVKA Multi-Age PRO is our response to the needs of parents who want to start babywearing their children as early as possible. We've made significant improvements to meet these needs:

additional head support for newborns,
a thinner waist belt,
width adjustment for tiny babies,
a dedicated buckle to support the ergonomic position of the smallest ones.

This allows us to carry babies from 56 cm and 3.5 kg. The previous model allowed for babies from approximately 68 cm and 3 months old, holding their heads independently.

Is KAVKA baby carriers safe?

Yes, our baby carriers meet the strict European standard PN-EN 13209-2:2016-04.

But that's not all! Because this is a product for the youngest, we go a step further. We ensure the carrier is safe at every stage of its development. We test the quality of both the fabric and the threads we use for sewing, and even the yarn used to weave the carrier straps is safety certified. KAVKA carriers are the work of specialists in various fields, from fabric design—raw materials and the appropriate weave—through the visual and technological design of the carrier, to consultations with babywearing consultants and physiotherapists. What material are KAVKA carriers made of?

KAVKA carriers are made of twill or jacquard fabric (used in the creation of professional baby wraps), making them soft, durable, and of the highest quality. We use high-quality cotton fabric, as well as a combination of bamboo viscose and Tencel. We also offer carriers made of 100% linen fabric. The fabrics are created specifically for the KAVKA brand; we individually design the fabrics: we choose both the raw materials and the appropriate weave.

The pattern/model I'm interested in is unavailable. Can I order it?

The fabrics for our carriers are ordered in very limited quantities and are woven exclusively for us. We cannot guarantee that an unavailable pattern/model will be back in stock. Some patterns/models that are not available on our website can be found in stores that we partner with. You can find them in the "Find a Store" section.

From what age can I carry my baby on my back?

We encourage carrying babies on their backs when they are starting to stand up on their own. If you decide to carry your baby on your back, it's worth observing them closely while carrying them to ensure they have adequate air circulation.
